Read More	The Onaga Herald April 18, 1929 Mary Reboul was born in Besssage, France on April 1, 1856 and died at Centralia, Kansas, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Simon Armstrong on April 13, 1929 aged 73 years and 12 days. She made her home the past year or more at the home of this daughter, due to illness which terminated her life thus soon, but her own home residence has been for many years in the city of Onaga. As a child of nine years she came with her parents to America to the state of Pennsylvania. Five years later she came with them to Kansas, taking residence in the vicinity of Onaga near Neuchatel, where all of her years have been spent since that time. She was married to William Kelly of the local community in 1873. To this union were born three children: one daughter, Mrs. Mary Armstrong of Centralia, and two sons, Thomas and William Kelly of Onaga. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. In 1895 she began her widowed career her husband having passed away in that year, and at that time with her family about her she took upon herself the toll of take-doer in caring for the family. Besides these previously mentioned relatives there remains two brothers, Henry Reboul of Greenleaf and August Reboul of Holton; and one sister, Martha Kelly of Onaga, to mourn her passing on. Mrs. Kelly's life was one coursed in the realm of experience. Her are was not so old but it was full of experiential life. France is a long way from Neuchatel, Kansas, but it was longer 64 years ago and the hazard of journey and the impression of such a voyage on a 9 year old child made an impression never to be erased. And then again from Pennsylvania to the prairies of Kansas with its summers heats and its winter snows-and all the trials and woes in living, to have others live, all rife with human interest and human experiences-these were all part of her youthful and formative years tinged and colored with the artistries of her nationality-and disciplined by wind and weather, trials and storms with "just enough sunshine to make a glorious sunset" grew her life and held her faith. And it is faith some times hidden away from human eyes that starties us when we discovered it arising and giving us the clue of life's best winnings. Having resided in the Neuchatel community all her Kansas life, it was only fitting that the services should be in the little church of her early Kansas experiences-in this little church to which she directed the feet of her children in youth and sent them off to Sunday school, although her religious faith was not that of the church form which she was buried, it nevertheless was an appropriate funeral service. Having received the last unctuous service of her own church she rested her case with God and quietly and sweetly closed her life to take it up in a more blessed state, in a new world, the heaven of the soul. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Neuchatel church Rev. J. E. McClain in charge. A quartette-Mrs. Burton Lohmuller, Mrs. L. C. Campbell, Oscal Darr and L. D. Richardson-with Geo. Bonjour of Onaga at the organ, rendered the music. The little church was full of sympathizing friends and floral wreaths gave suggestion to all that life has overcome death. Interment was made by the side of her husband in the Neuchatel Cemetery.
