Description	:	The Onaga Herald February 11, 1932 Valerie Reboul, daughter of John and Mary Reboul, was born in Ganiere, Canton of St. Ambroise, France, on December 24, 1853, and passed away on February 4, 1932, at the age of 78 years, 1 month and 11 days. She came to America in 1865, settling in Pennsylvania, and in 1870 she moved to Neuchatel. She was untied in marriage to Reuben Kelly on January 6, 1873, at Onaga. Read More	The Onaga Herald February 11, 1932 Valerie Reboul, daughter of John and Mary Reboul, was born in Ganiere, Canton of St. Ambroise, France, on December 24, 1853, and passed away on February 4, 1932, at the age of 78 years, 1 month and 11 days. She came to America in 1865, settling in Pennsylvania, and in 1870 she moved to Neuchatel. She was untied in marriage to Reuben Kelly on January 6, 1873, at Onaga. To this union five children were born, two of them, Lucy and Ida, dying in childhood. There remain to survive her: Charles, of Onaga, William, of Topeka, and Mrs. Pearl Noble, of Osage City, who, with her husband and companion of more than 59 years, are left to sorrow in her passing. There are also twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Hers has been the life of the pioneers. She came to the west when it was new and required brave spirits to face its hardships. Uncomplaining and patient, she faced the frontier, and with many others, helped to turn the desert into the pleasant land we know today. Yet she was not hardened by these things, but sought to make them the means to a finer life. She kept her faith in God, and in all things sought to build a quality of character that would be an example to all who should know her. Her last years have been frail ones, yet she has never yielded to despair, but has kept her courage and borne patiently the lot that seemed hers to bear. Funeral services were held at the Neuchatel church, Saturday afternoon. Many old friends and neighbors of many years were present to join in last respects to the departed. Interment was in the Neuchatel cemetery.
