Read More	Mary married Joseph Wiederhold on Aug. 25, 1871 in Hoerd, Germany. They were the parents of Joseph, William, Anton, Mary, John, and Tena. Sept 25, 1924 - Carroll Times - Mrs. Joseph Wiederhold Sr passed away at St Anthony Hospital Friday Sept 19, where she had been under treatment for a mouth. She was taken sick in May and for several months afterwards was cared for at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Eugene Booth. About a month ago her condition became so serious that it was thought best she be given the care of the nurses at the hospital, where she died fully fortified with the last rites of the Catholic church. Mrs. Wiederhold, before her marriage was Miss Mary Redegeld. She was born in Lugernetter, Kreis, Warburg, Germany, November 25, 1845. and was married there August 25, 1871, to Joseph Wiederhold. Mr. and Mrs. Wiederhold came to America some years afterward, going first to Winfield, Illinois, where Rev. Fr. John Wiederhold,a brother of Mr. Wiederhold, was located. Later they came to Carroll which has since been the family home. Of the six children born to Mr. and Mrs. Wiederhold, five with the husband survive, namely: Joe Wiederhold, Will Wiederhold, Anton Wiederhold, Mrs. Mary Booth and Mrs. Tena Collison. John died in infancy. Mrs. Wiederhold was a great lover of her home and the interest of her family. Until her illness in May she cared for her home displaying the same interest as in younger years. She was a devout member of the Catholic church and the Sacred Heart sodality of the S.S. Peter and Paul church. After her death her remains were brought to the home of her son, Joseph Wiederhold, Jr. Services were held in the S.S. Peter and Paul church Monday morning at 9 o'clock and burial was made in the Catholic cemetery.
