She had been in ill health for seven years and a patient at the medical center for 2 1/2 weeks. She was born April 19, 1920, at rural Weir, to Jay Harrison Sr. and Rosa Lampton Jones. She lived at Pittsburg since 1940, moving from Weir. She graduated from Columbus High School. She married C. Roland Billington on Nov. 2, 1940. He preceded her in death April 6, 1985. Mrs. Billington was a homemaker. She was a member of the Baptist Church and a former 4-H leader. Survivors include two daughters, Carol Billington Hess of Lenexa and Judy Miller of Riverside, Mo.; four brothers, Melvin Jones of Weir, Gerald Jones of Weir, Leo Jones of St. Joseph, Mo., and Cleo Jones of Weir; and a sister, Geraldine Belcher of St. Joseph. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jay Jones Jr.; and two sisters, Ruby Soper and Opal Bennett. Services will be 10 a.. Friday at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home, 522 S. Broadway, with the Rev. Don Walker officiating. Burial will be at the Pittsburg Garden of Memories Cemetery. the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
