Description	:	Mary Sutter, daughter of Charles and Fredricka Sutter, was born July 4, 1881, near Byron, Nebr. and passed away at St. Johns Hospital in Salina, Kans., on December 6, 1965. When a child she moved with her family to Hitchcock, S.D., returning to the Chester area in 1909. She had been a member of the Methodist Church in Chester since 1941. She had enjoyed fairly good health until about three and a half years ago. Since then she has suffered several broken bones and has, during this time, made her home at the Belleville Rest Home. She was preceded in death by three sisters. Survivors include two brothers, Louis F. Sutter of Huron, S.D.; and Lawrence Sutter of Lead, S.D.; and one sister, Mrs. Esther Huckins of Belleville, Ks.; as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Chester Methodist Church on Thursday afternoon, Dec. 9, with the Rev. Marlon Loftis officiating. Mrs. H.R. Porter and Mrs. W.W. Williams sang, accompanied by Mrs. Dolan Frye at the organ. Pallbearers were Art Wendling, Fred Thompson, Ervin Huckins, Leslie Hartley, Lawrence Eickman and Max Derowitsch. Interment was in the Chester Cemetery with Bachelor-Faulkner-Dart Funeral Service in charge.
