In 1881 they moved to Kansas where they resided for eleven years, coming to Iowa in 1892, where she spent the rest of her life. They were the parents of seven children. She married Augustus Mealio in 1908. He died in 1915. Mrs. Mealio, a resident of Alden for many years, died at Independence. Funeral services were conducted at the Scott Funeral Home...
