She had been in ill health for several years. At one time she was a teacher in the Campbell County school system. Survivors include her husband, Roy D. Cooper; two brothers, Charles W. Mars of Oak Ridge and William F. Mars of Clinton; two sisters, Mrs. Floyd (Jack) Bowling of Athens, Tennessee, and Mrs. Robert E. Tucker of Philadelphia, Pa.
