Description	:	Funeral services for Mrs. William Cronin, 86, pioneer resident of northeastern Iowa, who died Saturday evening at the home of her daughter, Alice, Mrs. Albert Beck, will be in St. Mary's Catholic Church at Waverly. Rev. Father John Molloy will officiate. Burial will be in the Waverly cemetery. Mary Twohig was born February 5, 1840, in Dunmanway, County Cork, Ireland, and came to America with her parents in 1847, settling in Massachusetts. Mary Twohig was born February 5, 1840, in Dunmanway, County Cork, Ireland, and came to America with her parents in 1847, settling in Massachusetts. She was married to William Cronin on February 2, 1862 at Armstrong, Wisconsin. They came to Iowa soon after their marriage and settled on a farm near Clarksville, where they lived until 1900, then moving to Waverly. Mr. Cronin died in 1906. Mrs. Cronin remained in Waverly until 1918, when she came to Waterloo to reside with her daughter. She is survived by nine children: James Cronin, Mrs. F. J. Byrnes, Mrs. James Mahoney, Mrs. Hanna Ramker, Mrs. G. E. Noble, Mrs. Mary Grady, Mrs. E. T. McDonald, Mrs. B. F. Beck and Mrs. J. E.
