Description	:	Mary's marker is inscribed incorrectly. Records indicate that she was likely born Mar 1837. Her husband Thomas was probably born in Dec 1829. She died at Kansas City General Hospital on Jan 28, 1924 of pneumonia. The informant on her death certificate was William E Huddleston (1867-1932), a nephew of her husband, who is also buried in this cemetery. He listed her birthdate as 16 Dec 1847, age 75, b. in VA, father Daniel Zombro. Several records indicate Mary's middle initial was L. or E., not May, as inscribed on the marker.... Mary's step-daughters were Mary M. Barco Harmon and Mary MAY Huddleston Bell. At the time of Mary's death she and her sister, Clara Zombro Keeler (1848-1924), were living in Kansas City. Clara died 5 months after Mary and was buried in Mount Washington Cemetery in Kansas City, Jackson, MO. They were the daughters of Daniel and Eliza (Furman) Zombro. Another sister, Margaret Zombro Vineyard (1840-1920), is buried at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Madison County, Illinois. They are listed as Mary A, age 13; Margaret S, age 10; and Sarah J, age 2 on the 1850 US census in Madison County, IL in the household of Daniel & Eliza "Zimbro", along with brothers, John, James, & Walker, all born in Virginia. Mary was the 3rd wife of Peter Barco (1823-1874) and the 2nd wife of T. E. Huddleston, whom she married 10 Dec 1874 in Madison County, Illinois. Mary did not have any children. Note *: A 14 yr old Charles Hatfield was listed in the Peter Barco household on the 1870 US census in Madison County, IL and was also a beneficiary listed in Peter Barco's will in 1874. Charles Hatfield (1855-1947) married Mary's step-daughter, Anna Huddleston, in 1878. They are buried in Lake Charles Park Cemetery, St. Louis County, MO.
