Description	:	The Hooper Sentinel July 30, 1959 Mrs. Ed Stroh Laid To Rest On Wednesday Mrs. Edward Stroh, 74, passed away Sunday in a Fremont hospital, where she had been a patient for some time. She had been ill for two years. Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon at the Redeemer Lutheran East Church, with the Rev. G. Van Boening officiating. Interment was in the Hooper Cemetery, Music for the service was by Mrs. H. G Osterloh, soloist, accompanied by Ruth Ann Warnke, organist. Mathilda (Tillie) Schwab was born April 5, 1885 in Hooper, the daughter of Adam and Fredericka Schwab. She had lived in this community all her life and was a longtime member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church. She married Edward Stroh on March 6, 1906, and he preceded her in death on August 2, 1952. She is survived by a brother, Rheinhold Schwab; sisters, Mrs. Alice Bangert of Fort Lupton, Colo.; and Mrs. Ella Pfeiffer of Union. Wollmer & Warne Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.
