GAGE and a young gentleman reared in Fairfield and having a wide acquaintance here, visited friends in this city several days last week. He was accompanied by his bride, formerly Miss Millie E. KELLNER of Chicago, their marriage occurring in that city on the 12th inst.. Mr. and Mrs. GAGE left last evening for Baird, Texas, their future home, where the former has charge of the business of the Texas & Pacific railroad, a company in whose employ he has been for some time..... ------- "Lockridge Herald", Fri., Dec. 6, 1912, Pg. 1, Col. 5 MARRIED IN TEXAS. Mrs. Millie GAGE and Newton WILLIAMS, both well known residents of Fairfield, were united in marriage Wednesday evening at the home of Mrs. McMANNUS, an intimate friend of the bride, at Baird, Texas. Mr. and Mrs. WILLIAMS left at once for Ft. Worth, Texas, and will spent some time in San Antonio. They will remain in the southland until spring, when they will return to Fairfield to make their home. -------- Note: Newton Williams is buried in Evergreen Cemetery (Fairfield, Iowa) along with his first wife Mary Coffin Williams and their son LeRoy Williams. Mathilde/Millie was evidently buried in Old Fairfield Cemetery in a plot along with her first husband Frank Gage, and his brother Edward M Gage.
