She was 84 years, 11 months and 24 days of age. The funeral service was held at the Doe Run Methodist Church, Sunday afternoon at two o'clock, conducted by the pastor, Rev. J. L. Finley and followed by interment in the cemetery of the German M. E. Church near Doe Run. She requested that she be buried in this spot. She came to this country when she was 14 years of age. She lived at Iron Mountain until the year 1866 when she was united in marriage to Frederick Hennrich. To this union, 8 children were born. Her husband and three children preceded her in death. The surviving children are Mrs. Gustave A. Frech, of DeSoto; Mrs. H. J. Morlan, of Bloomington, NB; Mrs. J. M. Millsap, of Houston, TX; Charles Hennrich of Doe Run, and John Albert Hennrich, of Axtell, KS. The deceased leaves 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In young womanhood, she worshiped in the Catholic church but later attended the Methodist church. She continued to live and exercise the highest Christian virtues until the end. Grandma Hennrich, as she was affectionately known by friends and neighbors, bore her sufferings, which were many and severe, with Christian fortitude. She was a devoted mother and her grandchildren were idolized by her. She was never more happy than when they gathered around her sick bed and it gave them great joy to wait on grandmother. Truly a good woman has gone to her reward.
