They were the parents of Frederick Wilhelm (1912-1996), Paul, Mrs Julius Anderson, and Mrs Henry Schick. Mr. Honold was born in Ochsenberg, Germany Nov 28, 1871. When he was eleven years old he came with his parents to the United States in 1882. The family settled at Niles, in Cook County, IL. In the spring of 1889 Mr. Honold came to Greene County to reside on a farm in Willow township where he lived until Sept. 14, 1938, when he and his wife moved to Coon Rapids. His wife's maiden name was Rosa Knoll. Mr. Honold was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Willow Township. Surviving are his wife and four children: Mrs. Julius Anderson, Mrs. Henry Schick, Frederick and Paul Honold, all of the Coon Rapids vicinity. He also leaves seven grandchildren and two brothers, Fred Honold of Latimer, Ia, and Henry Honold, of Glenview, IL. The brother from Glenview is coming to attend the funeral services.
