"OBITUARIES

MRS. MATTIE COLLINS

Mrs. Mattie Collins, 67, died Saturday morning Nov. 11 [sic]. Survivors: six sons, Leonard, Mark, Chester, Lloyd, Floyd and James; three daughters, Mrs. Ruthie Miller, Mrs. Sally Evans, Mrs. Mossie Lawrence; 42 grandchildren. Funeral services were Monday Nov. 13 at Brown-Evans home. Rev. Johnny Coffey officiating. Burial in Atkins cemetery. Smith's, Rutledge, in charge."

Per death certificate, daughter of Arch Atkins and Louise Webb. Son Floyd was the informant.

Married: (1) Charley Atkins, [though marriage record lists his name as Charley "Collins"], 1902; (2) George Collins, 1922, by whom she had a son James.
