Description	:	Mattie Belle Mosier, daughter of Minnie and Greene Young, was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky July 4, 1881 and departed this life May 1, 1965 at the Blue Valley Lutheran Home in Hebron at the age of 83 years, ten months. She was united in marriage to Millard Baugh in 1897 and to this union were born two daughters, Bessie Jane, who preceded her mother in death in 1909, and Dorothy Belle. Read More	Mattie Belle Mosier, daughter of Minnie and Greene Young, was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky July 4, 1881 and departed this life May 1, 1965 at the Blue Valley Lutheran Home in Hebron at the age of 83 years, ten months. She was united in marriage to Millard Baugh in 1897 and to this union were born two daughters, Bessie Jane, who preceded her mother in death in 1909, and Dorothy Belle. Mr. Baugh preceded her in death in 1925. She was united in marriage to Geo. Mosier on June 4, 1928, who preceded her in death March 13, 1953. Mattie was baptized into Christ in Kentucky in Kentucky River at an early age. She came with her husband to the Chester community in 1928 where she resided until ill health made it necessary to live with her daughter for a time, going to Hebron in December 1964. She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy; son-in-law, Hal; four stepsons; four stepdaughters-in-law; thirteen grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and one great great grandson; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 4, at the Chester Christian Church with the Rev. Millard White officiating. Singers were Terry Loftis and Lin White, with Mrs. Ray Truss, accompanist. The pallbearers were Jack Brumbaugh, Don Hurst, Barclay Gallion, Kenneth Dake, Adrian Dake, and Art Wendling. Interment was in the Chester Cemetery, Bachelor-Faulkner-Dart Funeral Service in charge.
