Woods, Dec 12, 1878 and removed to Fairfield, Nebraska, in March 1879, living there until 1896 when she went to Omaha to be with her daughter, Mrs R. A. Campbell. Mrs Woods united with the Presbyterian Church of Edgar about twenty years ago and passed on with perfect confidence to God, declaring to the loved ones who stood about her bed that "God is love".... Woods, Dec 12, 1878 and removed to Fairfield, Nebraska, in March 1879, living there until 1896 when she went to Omaha to be with her daughter, Mrs R. A. Campbell. Mrs Woods united with the Presbyterian Church of Edgar about twenty years ago and passed on with perfect confidence to God, declaring to the loved ones who stood about her bed that "God is love". Her death was a beautiful death as her life was a beautiful life. The date of her passing was July 1st, 1925, aged 67 years, 2 months and 8 days. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Lucius M Woods; three daughters, Mrs R. A. Campbell of Omaha, Mrs Fred W. Gass of Edgar and Mrs Charles R. Hankins of Hastings, Nebraska; four grand-children, Max L. and Rollo E Gass of Edgar and Martha E and Nola L Hankins of Hastings and one sister, Mrs Jerome B. Woods of Fairfield, Nebraska. She has pased (sic) on to join her three children, gone before, a daughter, Ambrosia and two twin sons, Logan and Loman; her father and mother, Mr and Mrs S. R. Jones and five brothers, William, Perry, Jerome, Jonathan and Edward with many other relatives and friends. She was a kind and loving wife, mother and sister, and a most devoted friend to all who knew her. Funeral services were conducted from the Presbyterian Church, Edgar, Nebraska, Thursday, July 2, at 2 P. M., Mr Charles A. Shook of the Edgar Christian Church officiating, assisted by Rev Hutcheson of the Presbyterian church.
