She was united in marriage to Clarence Armstrong on September 18, 1917 at Edgewood, Iowa. To this union was born two children, a daughter, Regena and one son, Dale. She is survived by one daughter, Regena Chalmers of Grand Junction, Colorado; four brothers, Jack Seward of Vallego, California, Harry Seward of Wilma, Alabama, Cecil Lawrence of Pueblo, Colorado and Calvin Lawrence of Grand Junction, Colorado; three sisters, Florence Seward of Mobile, Alabama, Velma McCorvey of Mobile, Alabama and Lillian Dix of Mobile, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Dale. She was a Gold Star Mother. Her son passed away during the Korean War. Her husband Clarence passed away on March 28, 1964. Funernal (sic) services for Maude Armstrong, who was born February 6, 1892 and passed away May 13, 1970, were held Wednesday, May 20, 1970 at 2:00 p.m. at the Klawitter Funeral Home, Nelson, Nebraska. Rev. L.A. Hansen of the United Methodist Church officiated. Casket bearers were Wilber Wilson, John Bauman, Clifford Adamson, Selby Howard, Maurice Anderson and Otto Eilers.
