Description	:	WENATCHEE _ Maureen M. Schooler, 90, a longtime resident of the Wenatchee Valley, died Friday, Dec. 23, 1994, in Parkside Rehab and Care Center following an extended illness. She was born Aug. 11, 1904, to Rueben A. and Estella (Shearer) Milner at Iola, Kan. At the age of 6, she moved with her family to the Yakima Valley where she was raised and attended school. Read More	WENATCHEE _ Maureen M. Schooler, 90, a longtime resident of the Wenatchee Valley, died Friday, Dec. 23, 1994, in Parkside Rehab and Care Center following an extended illness. She was born Aug. 11, 1904, to Rueben A. and Estella (Shearer) Milner at Iola, Kan. At the age of 6, she moved with her family to the Yakima Valley where she was raised and attended school. She married Earl Smith on June 1, 1924, at Wapato. They lived in the Yakima Valley until 1942 when they moved to Spokane and she worked as a riveter during World War II. They moved to the Wenatchee Valley in 1952 where she worked in various packing sheds for many years. Following the death of her husband in 1974, she continued living in the Wenatchee Valley. She married Charles Floyd Schooler on July 21, 1979, at Wenatchee, and they made their home in East Wenatchee. Mr. Schooler died in October 1994. Mrs. Schooler was a member of the Wenatchee Brethren Baptist Church United. She is survived by three daughters, Maureta Brocklehurst of Spokane; Ivadell Carr of Wenatchee, and Audree Storms of Spokane; a stepson, LeRoy Schooler of Soap Lake; a stepdaughter, Joyce Varnell of Moses Lake; 13 grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by a brother and a grandchild.
