Description	:	MUSSELSHELL — Maureen Crawford Rademacher, 85, daughter of William "Bill" and Miriam Crawford, died Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2011, at Billings Clinic, from complications following a hip fracture. Maureen was born at Melstone Hospital on July 27, 1926. She grew up on the family ranch outside of Musselshell with her three younger sisters, Mavis, Molly and Eileen. Read More	MUSSELSHELL — Maureen Crawford Rademacher, 85, daughter of William "Bill" and Miriam Crawford, died Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2011, at Billings Clinic, from complications following a hip fracture. Maureen was born at Melstone Hospital on July 27, 1926. She grew up on the family ranch outside of Musselshell with her three younger sisters, Mavis, Molly and Eileen. She graduated from Musselshell High School in 1945. She married Maurice "Ole" Rademacher on Feb. 10, 1951. Through this union, she gained two stepsons, Monte and Dick. She and Ole had three children together, Carol, Robert and Jay. They resided in Billings until Ole's death in 1974. She purchased the Sportsman Bar and Café in Melstone, which she owned and operated until retiring in 2003. She was famous for arriving at the Crawford Ranch before Christmas with "hundreds of cookies" and gifts, some for everyone. She would continue to love to bake cookies throughout her 85 years. After retiring from the enclosed environment of the bar, she began a new life in Musselshell, taking great delight in her yard and watering her flowers. She was always willing and ready to bake or cook anything needed at events being held at Musselshell School. She enjoyed her new-found neighbors and especially visits and phone calls from her sisters. Survivors include two sisters, a daughter, two sons, six grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. Viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m., Monday, Aug. 8, at Wier Chapel, 208 First St. W., Roundup. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, at Community Bible Church in Musselshell. Interment will be at Custer Cemetery in Custer, with a luncheon to follow. Memorials may be sent to Friends of Musselshell School, Inc, P.O. Box 14, Musselshell, MT 59059, or a charity of your choice.
