A Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, at the Palmer & Swank Funeral Home, Rockwell City. The Funeral Service will be live streamed via Palmer & Swank Funeral Home FaceBook page. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family. Mike is survived by his wife, Carol; his children, Kam (Amy), Christy (Mark), and Tony (Sue); seven grandchildren, Katelyn, Emma, Brennan, Brandon (Katie), Brianna, Lindsay and Whitney (Casey); one great-grandchild, Tate; sister, Mary (Gary); and many loving extended family members and loyal friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Chet Collins; daughter, Kathy Ann Collins; his parents, Leo and Rose (Masterson) Collins; and brothers, Jim, Bill, Larry, and Jerry Collins. Maurice Michael Collins was born March 4, 1941. After retiring from a life of trucking, Mike loved working in his shop, working for Martin Hildreth Co., and area farmers kept him happy and busy. Mike was a faithful member of St. Francis Catholic Church.
