Read More	Max Eugene Eberspacher Born: Tuesday, February 23rd 1926 in Seward, Nebraska Died: Friday, October 28th 2016 in Seward, Nebraska Age: 90 years, 8 months and 5 days Max Eugene Eberspacher, age 90, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2016 at Brookdale (Heartland Park) in Seward, Nebraska. Max was born on February 23, 1926 in Seward Nebraska to Floyd and Ruth Meyer Eberspacher. Max attended Glendale Country School and then graduated from Milford Public School in 1943. After graduation, Max joined the Navy and served two years and was proud of be a Veteran of World War II. In June 1948, Max married Lois Arlene Schernikau where they started their life together for more than 65 years. This union of marriage brought three children: Susan, Jack and Val. Max started farming in 1947 on his return from World War II with a 1936 WD Allis Chalmers Tractor and a 1926 Chevy truck on a rented 160 acres. Max enjoyed the full circle of Agriculture including farming of corn, soybeans, milo and wheat along with raising cattle and over 1000 head of cattle on feed. He had a love for helping his children with their livestock projects in 4-H and FFA. The family won numerous championships with a few highlights including AKSARBEN, American Royal and Arizona Nationals. Another highlight was in 1981; Max and Lois were honored as Nebraska Farm Family of the year. Max loved spending time when they retired in Arizona and spent 14 years working at the Sunland Village Golf Course. He also was a team member of the Shuffle Board group and has a passion of trading golf carts in his spare time. Max was a life time member of the Salem United Methodist Church where he served as Sunday School Superintendent. He was a school board member for the Beaver Crossing School and a member of the Goehner Grange & Farmers Union Organization. Max is survived by: daughter, Susan Bailey; son, Val (Lori) Marshall; five grandchildren, Amanda (Mark) Hilbrands, Melody (Cody) Bass, Suzie Bailey (Fiancée) Jonathan Reale), Sam Eberspacher, Maggie Eberspacher; great grandchild, Kinslee Hope Hilbrands; daughter-in-law, Ginger Eberspacher,; and brother, Tex (Margaret) Eberspacher. He is preceded in death by: his wife, Lois; parents, Floyd and Ruth Eberspacher; son, Jack Eberspacher; brothers, Lowell and Glen Eberspacher; and sister, Phyllis Brockhoff. Funeral Service on Wednesday, November 2, 2016, at Salem Country Church, County Road 322 & A Road Goehner, Nebraska. Interment at Salem United Methodist Cemetery in rural Goehner, Nebraska.
