Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Carolyn Lange of Grand Island, Cheryl (Richard) Iwanski of Brigham City, UT, and Dennis Lange of Grand Island; daughter-in-law, Rose Lange of Lincoln; sister, Alice Noriega of North Dakota; brother-in-law, Roger (Arlys) Lange of Kansas; sister-in-law, Donna Lange of Callaway; eleven grandchildren, Jeff (Jamie) Lange, Amy Stone (fiancé, Geoff Ziezulewicz), Eric (Nadine) Lange, Shila (John) Schneider, Trenten (Mandy) Iwanski and Julie Lange; five great-grandchildren, Gabe, Avery and Melina Lange and Brenden and Trevyn Schneider; three step-great-grandchildren, Kody Barber and Kami and Josh Wessel; three great great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Easton and Gracelynn Barber; and a host of extended family and friends. Maxine is preceded in death by her husband, Dale, in 1994; parents; step-mother; son, Randy Lange; grandsons, William and Joseph Lange; and brothers-in-law, Larry Noriega and Raymond Lange. She was raised on a farm near Callaway, where she attended school, graduating with the class of 1949. On May 29th of that year she married Dale Lavern Lange. This union was blessed with four children. Following their marriage, they lived in Callaway, Kearney and Grand Island. She was employed by Leon Plastics at Alda until her retirement. Maxine was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary. In their spare time she and Dale enjoyed camping and they helped the local Rolling Eagles Camping Club get their start. She loved pranks and practical jokes and her laugh was contagious. Maxine enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends, two- and four-legged.
