Description	:	Maxine M. Dickens, 94, died Oct. 23, 2011, at Good Smaritan Society, Ottumwa. She was born Feb. 7, 1917, in Davis County to Hubert and Margaret Dommer Kinsinger. She married Donald Dickens in 1942. A longtime resident of Wapello County, she graduated from Ottumwa High School in 1935 and from Ottumwa Heights College, followed by one year at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kan. Las Vegas, John of Fremont, Calif. and Bruce of Irvine, Calif.; one daughter, Mary Johnson of Tavernier, Fla.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one brother, Elmer Kinsinger of Oskaloosa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; one son, David; and two brothers, Sam and Harold Kinsinger. Funeral services will be 10:30 am Saturday at Robertson-Jay Funeraal Home; with Rev. Brian Gentz officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Open visitation will begin at 12 pm today with the family present from 6-8 pm this evening. Memorials may be made to Good Smaritan Society Ottumwa.
