She married Terrell Bishop on July 29, 1946 at Russellville and was a homemaker. She and her husband, Rev. Terrell Bishop, ministered for 30 years in The Church of God in Arkansas. O. and Macie Cale Tippin. She married Terrell Bishop on July 29, 1946 at Russellville and was a homemaker. She and her husband, Rev. Terrell Bishop, ministered for 30 years in The Church of God in Arkansas. Her husband said of her, 'She was a scholar of the Word'. She was a member of the American Legion Auxilliary, Riggs Hamilton Post, and the VFW Auxilliary at Pottsville. Maybeth was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Russellville where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School classes. She was known as a prayer warrior and was active in the intercessary prayer group at her church. She was active in the Ladies Missionary Group and the Always Young Group. Survivors include her husband, Rev. Terrell Bishop of Atkins; one daughter, Naomi and Rev. Rodney Plumley of Meridian; two sons, Dr. Terrell and Carol Bishop of Gravelly, Jr., Rev. Brenson and Mary Bishop of Louisville; seven grandchildren, Scott and Jessica Plumley, Brad, Lee, Lauren, William, and Lindsey Bishop; 6 great grandchildren; one brother, Dee and Ruth Tippin of Russellville. Funeral service will be 10 am Monday, August 26, 2002 at the First Assembly of God Church officiated by Rev. Larry Moore and Rev. Jesse B. Rye and Rev. Jim Tippin. Burial will be at Pisgah Cemetery at Pottsville under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 4-5:30 p.m Sunday at the funeral home.
