She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Daisy Ashby; her siblings, Almeda Larson; Allen Ashby; Percy Ashby and Dennis Ashby; her husbands, Robert Matticks and Ted Kimminau and her grandchildren, Jordyn Lovgren and Kylie Lovgren. ================================================== Melba Jean Kimminau, 90, formerly of Fairfield, Nebraska, passed away July 4, 2019, at the Harvard Rest Haven in Harvard, Nebraska. A Funeral Service for Jean will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2019, at 10:30 a.m., at the Fairfield Community Presbyterian Church in Fairfield, Nebraska with Pastor Ivan & Joyce Dean presiding. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with the family greeting the public from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the McLaughlin Funeral Chapel in Clay Center, Nebraska. Graveside Services will be conducted following the funeral service at the Fairfield Cemetery in Fairfield, Nebraska. Memorials are to be directed to the Harvard Rest Haven or Fairfield Auxiliary.
