Description	:	Melba Lucille Wickes, 83, a lifelong resident of Cambridge City, passed away on March 7, 2016 at Arbor Trace in Richmond surrounded by her family. She was born on November 9, 1932 in White County, Tennessee to John and Sarah (Randolph) Meadows. Melba is survived by her husband of 65 years, Keith R. Wickes; three daughters Cheri (Steve) Ramey, Lynn (Steve) Mahoney and Missy (Al) Williams. Melba is also survived by her 97 year old sister, Lala Pauline Snyder. She is survived by 5 grandchildren Shawn (Tonya) Ramey, Shannon Ramey, Brianna (Andy) Miller, Michael (Mollee) Mahoney and Patrick Williams and 7 great grandchildren. Also surviving are special nieces and nephews Mike (Penny) Wickes, Vickie (Joe) Russell and Mike (Susie) Meadows. Other nieces and nephews also survive. Melba was a member of the Jacksonburg Christian Church. She found joy spending time with her family in many family gathering each year. She also enjoyed wintering in Naples, Florida with her husband Keith for over 20 years. Melba retired from Ford after 30 years of service. Melba was preceded in death by 7 siblings, John Jr., Sylvan, Verlin, Freeman, Robert, Betty Christine and Harold and 2 stillborn siblings. At her request, a private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to New Day Kiwanis for the Christmas Love Basket Project, 1010 E. Main St., Cambridge City, IN 47327.
