She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton E. Ankeny, who died in 1978. Survivors include two sons, Elmo L. of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Eddie J. of Council Bluffs; daughter, Mrs. Ron “Marty” Tyler of Council Bluffs; a sister, Cordelia Pond of Logan; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
