Mr. Nesbitt was born February 10, 1917 in Nance County to Charles and Ella (Peregrine) Nesbitt. He grew up in Nance County and attended District 55 School and graduated from Fullerton High School in 1936. On February 4, 1939 he married Elma Jackson at Clay Center. They farmed in the Fullerton-Belgrade areas. They retired and moved to Fullerton in 1976 due to his failing health. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing and raising cattle. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, past member of Eagles, Nance County Weed Board, District 36 School Board member and South Branch Township Board. Survivors include his wife Elma of Fullerton; two sons, Robert of Columbus and Roger of Grand Island; two daughters, Mrs. Al (Janet) Wemhoff of Belgrade and Mrs. Ken (Karyn) Wetovick of Fullerton; eight grandchildren and one brother, G.
