Melvin was a loving and devoted husband to his wife Aldene and enjoyed being with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Survivors include son, Richard and wife, Barbara Stucky of Denver, Colo.; daughter, Donna and husband, Keith Williams of Colorado Springs, Colo.; grandchildren, Gregory and wife, Dana Jo Williams of Colorado Springs, and Laura and husband, Trevor Killip of Dallas, Texas; and great-grandchildren, Annie, Emily and Adalynn Williams, Isaac and Evan Killip; a brother, Leroy and his wife, Audrey Stucky of Newton; sister-in-laws, Mary Ellen Stucky of Moundridge and Fern Stucky of California; and many nieces and nephews.Melvin is preceded in death by his parents, wife, five brothers and five sisters.Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday (Jan. 28, 2013) at Koerner Heights Church of the Mennonite Brethren in Newton. Interment will follow at Restlawn Gardens of Memory.Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 to 8 p.m. Saturday, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m.A memorial has been established with Koerner Heights Church or World Vision.
