Clark Passes Away Death Comes To Nebraska Pioneer Saturday Night At Her Home In Albion _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Mrs. F. F. Clark passed away at her home in Albion Saturday night, 24 Dec. She had been in failing health for some time, & for some time prior to her death had been in critical condition. Merba E. Lawrence was born 10 July 1852 & died 24 Dec. 1932. She was married to Ferdinand F. Clark 24 Dec. 1872, near Ottawa, Ill., her passing occurring n the 50th anniversary of her marriage. Saturday also was the birthday anniversary of Clyde E., the eldest son. This union was blessed with 6 children, all of whom are living. Mr. & Mrs. Clark came to Nebraska 1882, locating near Creston in Platte county. For the past several years they have been residents of this community, where they made many friends. Mrs. Clark leaves to mourn her passing her husband, her 6 children & other relatives. The children are Clyde E. Clark of Albion, Neb., Ralph O. Clark of Estherville, Iowa, Frank E. Clark of Albion, Neb., Lillian E. Barrett of Creston, Leon R. Clark of Huron, South Dakota & Lulu E. Whiting of Columbus. Funeral services were held at the home of her son, Frank, 6th & State Street, Tuesday afternoon conducted by Rev. E. E. Morrill. The 4 sons & 2 son-in-laws were the pallbearers. Burial was at Creston, Neb. where brief services were held. At this service a quartette composed of a cousin, Guy Clark, his daughter, Mrs. Ida Moran & Mr. Moran & Mrs. Fern Ritter sang.
