Clark passed away Saturday noon 1 Jan. at the Goff Nursing Home. He had been ill only a few days, with an attack of influenza. Ferdinand F. Clark was born 22 May 1851, near Ottawa, Illinois, the son of Windsor & Lois Clark. He grew to young manhood near his birth place. On 24 Dec. 1872, he was married to Merba E. Lawrence of Ottawa. She preceded him in death on 24 Dec. 1932. The family lived for a time near Ottawa. In 1882, moved to Nebraska & settled on a farm south of Creston. In 1910, they moved to Albion & resided here upon the death of Mrs. Clark. Mr. Clark divided his time amongst his children.He was a faithful & devoted husband & father. Mr. Clark leaves 2 daughters & 3 sons. One son, Ralph O. preceded his father in death. His daughters are Mrs. Lillian Barrett 0f Creston & Mrs. Lulu Whiting of Columbus. The sons are Clyde E. of Sherwood, Ore., Frank E. of Chicago, Ill., & Leon R. of Osceola, Neb. He also leaves to mourn his death, 16 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren & a host of other relatives & friends. Mrs. F. W. Dwyer, formerly Creta Clark, residing at Quiantico, VA. ___ by her grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. F. F. Clark, following the death of her mother. His funeral were conducted from the Presbyterian Church at Creston, Neb., at 2:00 on Monday by Rev. Jobeman.
