Description	:	Clifton Flynn 76 a pioneer Graham County resident died at 9:20 o'clock Sunday morning at the Jackson Boarding Home, where he had been cared for the past several months.His death was attributed to an arthritis condition,although he had suffered a stroke a few months before. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Christian church at Hill City. Rev. Clark Devore will officiate. Internment will be made at Roscoe Cemetery near Hill City. Clifford was born January 25, 1877 in Clinton County Indiana the youngest son of William Wallace Flynn & Margaret Cook.He came to Graham County with his parents when he was just two years old and they moved to a farm near Hill City in the Roscoe neighborhood where he grew to manhood. He confessed his faith in Christ in 1894 at Roscoe Kansas.Cliff never married but lived in the home and helped care for his Father till he died in 1915.them worked around in the county. He spent a number of years at Moreland Kansas,where he made many friends.After his health failed he came to Hill City on January 1,1947,and made his home in the Marie Dodd nursing home where he remained for five years.When Marie closed her nursing home he moved to Norton,Kansas to the Jackson Boarding Home where he was cared for until his death.He was preceded in death by his parents,7 sisters and 5 brothers being the last to go.He leaves only neices and nephews and a host of friends.Relatives from afar attending the funeral of Cliff Flynn.Mr.and Mrs Will Rollins,son Royal and wife of Howard Nebraska, Mrs Roy Bice of Lexington Neb.,Mrs Vernon Kaps,Kearey Neb.,Mr. and Mrs. Onie Flynn, Mrs. Raymond Flynn, Oxford Neb.,Mr. and Mrs. Harold Flynn, Mrs Jackson,Norton Kansas, Mr and Mrs Ralph Wills, Collier Kansas
