Survivors include his wife, Margaret; two daughters, Julie Graham and Cheryl Huff, both of Norwalk; three sons, Charles of Coralville, Roger of Norwalk and Dennis of Marshalltown; three half sisters, Gretchen Simmer of Norwalk, Ilene Gail of Runnells and Evilene [Evelyne] Henderson of Cedar Rapids; and two grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the Norwalk Fire and Rescue Department. Arrangements were handled by Gallaway-McLaren’s Funeral Home.
