Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Ramseur Wesleyan Church, Ramseur. Officiating will be the Rev. Gary Waisner and the Rev. Garry Arnett. Burial will be at Pleasant Ridge Christian Church cemetery, Ramseur. He was a native of Randolph County and a retired supervisor for the Town of Ramseur after 31 years of service. Smith, both of Asheboro; brother, Roger Dale Cox of Ramseur; grandchildren, Josh Neil Teague, Traci Marie Teague, both of Ramseur, Sarah Elizabeth Cox, of Asheboro. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Loflin Funeral Home, Ramseur, other times at the home of Ronnie and Teresa Teague, N.C. Hwy 22 S., Ramseur.
