Mrs. Mart, died Saturday, Dec. 18, at Colonial Manor Nursing Home, Douglas, Kan, after an extended illness. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elvira Ungry, she was born Aug. 18, 1885 at Longton, Kan. She was married in 1903 to Will Mart, who died in 1945. She moved from Emerson to Minnesota in 1914 and lived there until moving to Hamburg in 1930, and then back to Emerson in 1943. For the past eight years she had been a Kansas resident. Surviving are three sons, Marshall of Mitchellville, Denver of Kingman, Ariz, and Virgil address not known, two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Brown of Wichita, Kan, and Mrs. Crystal Hurner, Glyndon, Minn, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sister Mrs. Lessie Hodges, Farragut; two brothers Jim Ungry of Red Oak and Vernon Ungry, Omaha. Mrs. Mart was a member of First United Methodist Church here and it UMW.
