Hodges, daughter of Ellra and Sarah (McLaughlin) Ungry, was born January 10, 1894, in Pittsburg, KS, the fifth of six children. Her family moved to the Emerson, IA, area sometime around the turn of the century. She was united in marriage to Claude Hall on September 4, 1910, and to this union one son, Donald, was born. On July 19, 1924, she was united in marriage to Roy C. Hodges in Sidney, IA. To this union one son, Kenneth, was born. Survivors include two sons; Donald Hall and daughter-in-law Geneva of Stockton, CA; and Kenneth Hodges and daughter-in-law Betty of Farragut, IA. Also 13 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 24 great great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband Roy in 1958, three sisters, Mettie, Bessie, and Chressie; two brothers, James and Vernon; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Interment was in Sidney cemetery.
