Description	:	Michael Hefner, 58, foreman of the Santa Fe stationery department, dropped dead last night in his apartment, 516 Topeka, after asking H. J. Middleton, a friend to take him to a hospital for the second time. Complaining of not feeling well, Hefner called Middleton about 7:30 p.m., and asked him to take him to the hospital. When Middleton arrived, he found the door and windows locked and no one answered his knock. He called police. Charles Lytle, city detective, called the owner of the apartment, who came with a key. They found Hefner dead with the telephone receiver in his hand. Mrs. Hefner was in Oklahoma City, with a daughter, who is expecting a baby. Hefner had been an employee of the Santa Fe for the past 34 years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Monica Hefner, of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Glen Snook, of Oklahoma City; and three brothers, John H. and N. M.
