He was born March 18, 1937, in Waterloo, the son of Vincent and Amelia “Molly” Klein Driscoll. He married Constance “Connie” Schares on April 27, 1959, in Gilbertville and she died March 31, 1990. He married Barbara Garrison on February 21, 1992 in Gilbertville. Mike was employed as a forman/supervisor for Youngblut Construction for 47 years, retiring in 2002. Survivors include: his wife, Barbara of Washburn; his son, Troy Driscoll of Waterloo; two daughters, Kim (Larry Smith) Albright of Waterloo and Kristy Driscoll of Waterloo; a step-son, Keith (Kathy) Garrison of La Porte City; a step-daughter, Kris Garrison of La Porte City; ten grandchildren, Michael and Nick Albright, Derek and Dana Graybill, Jesse and Jarett Aldrich, Adam, Alex, Keith “Kaleb” Garrison, and Katie (Ross) Kisner; twelve great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald “Dwayne” Driscoll of Waterloo; three sisters, Miriam (Earl) Steimel of Waterloo, Gert Hogan of Washburn, and Sherry (Bill) Kohl of Marion; a brother-in-law, Wayne Fox of Waterloo. Preceded in death by: his parents, a brother, Vincent “Bud” (Gladys) Driscoll; four sisters, Arlene (Bob) Steimel, Gloria (Augie) Girsch, Donna (Jim) Condon, and Lynne Fox; a sister-in-law, Jan Driscoll; a brother-in-law, Charlie Hogan. Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 16, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery both in Gilbertville. Visitation from 3-8 p.m. Thursday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, where there will be a 3 p.m. rosary and 6 p.m. vigil service. Visitation also one hour prior to services Friday at the church. Memorials: may be directed to Immaculate Conception Church or the Bosco System.
