Johnston of this place, 76, resident of Fort Dodge for ten years, died Sunday afternoon at Mercy hospital from a heart attack. Mr. Sinnett was taken ill in Reuben's Grocery store and was rushed to the hospital where he died a short time later. Johnston of Pocahontas; Miss Irene Sinnett of Sioux City; Mrs. C. J. Mernin, Mrs. Kenneth Meusy and W. J. Sinnett of Storm Lake. Eight grandchildren also survive as do the following brothers and sisters, Patrick Sinnett of Pioneer, Mrs. Michael J. Ford, Mrs. Mary L. Hood of Fort Dodge and Mrs. J. A. McDonald of Eagle Grove. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 8:30 at the Laufersweiler funeral home and at 9:00 o'clock, at Corpus Christi Church. A nephew, the Rev. Father McDonald of Loras college, Dubuque read the Requeim Mass and another nephew, Lawrence McDonald of Eldora assisted Miss Ursula Ryan in the choir. Burial was in the Catholic cemetery on the Lizard. Those attending the funeral Pocahontas were Mr. and Mrs. O.C. Johnston, Mr and Mrs Chris Nieman, Mrs. C. J. Albrecht, Mrs. George Schott, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Nieman, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Barrett, and Mrs. Clayton Hollister of Des Monies.
