Description	:	Mr. Milas Aldridge died Thursday morning at the home of his son, Mr. W. F. Aldridge. He had been in declining health for many months, but some time ago he began to sink rapidly. Cancer was the immediate cause of his death. He bore his suffering with great christian fortitude. Deceased was born in Sandy Ridge township, Feb. 27, 1850. Read More	Mr. Milas Aldridge died Thursday morning at the home of his son, Mr. W. F. Aldridge. He had been in declining health for many months, but some time ago he began to sink rapidly. Cancer was the immediate cause of his death. He bore his suffering with great christian fortitude. Deceased was born in Sandy Ridge township, Feb. 27, 1850. He was therefore 72 years, 7 months and 21 days old. He was twice married, his first marriage being to Miss Sarah Baker on July 1, 1869. To this union were born five children, three sons and two daughters. She died in 1900 and since that time all of the children have passed away except one son, Mr. W. F. Aldridge. The deceased's second marriage was to Miss Martha Crenshaw, who died Feb. 27th of this year. Mr. Aldridge has been a faithful and consistent member of the Methodist church for fifty-eight years, having been received into the Pleasant Grove church at the age of fourteen years. He was a fine citizen, highly respected by his neighbors. Funeral services were conducted Friday at Pleasant Grove church by Rev. E. Myers, a former pastor, assisted by Rev. W. A. Thomas.
