She was born June 14, 1919, at Lewiston to Christopher Columbus and Alice King Wolf. She attended the Peola School and graduated in 1938 from Pomeroy High School. She and Jeptha W. She was born June 14, 1919, at Lewiston to Christopher Columbus and Alice King Wolf. She attended the Peola School and graduated in 1938 from Pomeroy High School. She and Jeptha W. Baden were married Nov. 28, 1938, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Pomeroy. They moved to the Ski Hawk District south of Pomeroy and farmed until 1969, when they moved to town. From 1971 to 1974 she worked at the Dayton Pea Cannery. In 1974 she began working at the Garfield County Hospital in the laundry department and retired 15 years later. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church at Pomeroy. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Grange and Home Economics Club, both in Pomeroy, and enjoyed bowling, fishing, flowers and cooking for her grandchildren. Survivors in addition to her husband at Pomeroy are a son, Bill Baden of Pasco; four brothers, Joe and Robert Wolf, both of Clarkston, and Wilbur and Jim Wolf, both of Pomeroy; two sisters, Jeanne Price and Jeanette Fisher, both of Pomeroy; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Lacey, a sister, Helen Wolf, and two brothers, Sam and Phillip Wolf. Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. Friday at Richardson-Brown Funeral Home in Pomeroy. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev. John Sand as celebrant. The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas TX 75231, or Holy Rosary Catholic Church at Pomeroy.
