Description	:	Mildred Evelyn Orr Ashe, 86, of Penrose died December 20, 2012 at Pardee Memorial Hospital. She was born on February 19, 1926 in Transylvania County to the late Homer and Grace Owen Orr. She was an active and faithful member of Little River Baptist Church in numerous capacities which included Women's groups, Sunday school, as well as being a member of the choir. She was an excellent homemaker and cared deeply for her family. She is survived by her husband of 63 years Burlas C. She was born on February 19, 1926 in Transylvania County to the late Homer and Grace Owen Orr. Ashe of Penrose; two daughters, Judy Cox and her husband Rick of Crab Creek, and Shelia Bagwell and her husband Tony of Greenville; one brother Tom Orr of Penrose; one sister, Pat Jones of Penrose; and two grandchildren, Jason Cox of Crab Creek, and Bridgette Bagwell of Greenville. A graveside service will be held at Little River Baptist Church Cemetery on Sunday December 23, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Chris Farmer officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Spring Arbor of Hendersonville Staff Fund, 1820 Pisgah Dr, Hendersonville, NC 28791.
