Mildred Lily Hennings, daughter of Henry and Hulda (Neubaum) Hennings, was born October 24, 1917 in Sioux Falls, SD. She grew up and received her education there. Mildred Lily Hennings, daughter of Henry and Hulda (Neubaum) Hennings, was born October 24, 1917 in Sioux Falls, SD. She grew up and received her education there. Mildred then worked for a time at Manchester Biscuit Company. Mildred was united in marriage with Louis Haugstad on June 21, 1939 in Canton, SD. The couple made their home and raised their family in Sioux Falls. Mildred was also active in the PTA when her boys were in school. Grateful for having shared her life are two sons, Doug Haugstad and his wife, Lynne, Sioux Falls, SD, Eugene "Butch" Haugstad, Sioux Falls, SD; four grandchildren, Kim Munger and her husband, Scott, Lance Haugstad and his wife, Thao, Drake Mohr and his wife, Joan, Jamie Mohr; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Louis, on November 17, 1973; her parents; three brothers, Ray Hennings, Roy Hennings, Justus Hennings; and four sisters, Edna Eckley, Mattie Daly, Esther Wilde and Marie Whaley. - George Boom Funeral Home
