Justus was preceded in death by his wife, Alberta, on November 3, 1994; two sons, Justus Hennings Jr., Robert Hennings; a daughter, Donna Henglefelt; his parents; two brothers, Ray Hennings, Roy Hennings; and four sisters, Edna Eckley, Mattie Daly, Esther Wilde and Marie Whaley.
