Read More	MILDRED LOUISE (COLGLAZIER) KUHNKE Holyoke Enterprise, Holyoke, Colorado, March 28, 1996 Mildred Louise Colglazier Kuhnke of Holyoke began her life August 31, 1908 in the rolling hills of southern Indiana in the town of Salem. Her father and mother, Cecil B. and Effie Huff Colglazier, were farmers and lived in that community for many years, along with their parents and many brothers and sisters. Louise became sick this past November and was rushed to Melissa Memorial Hospital, suffering from a stroke. She spent the next few months in and out of the Prairie Vista Care Center and the hospital, finally succumbing to a brain tumor on Friday, March 15, 1996. She was not a complaining patient and made the best of the circumstances. Louise was only a year old when she moved to Holyoke, her older brother Ernest was 3. During her years at Amity and PCHS, she met Clarence Kuhnke and married him on January 13, 1929. Preceding her in death were her parents, baby sister Edith Clare who died at birth, sister Myrtle in 1940 and brother Harold in May of 1994. Survivors include husband Clarence of Holyoke; daughters Patricia Louise and husband Russell Schaeffer of Colegedale, TN, Phyllis Charlene and husband Pastor Ray Bailey of Sacramento, CA, Ardyce Clair and husband Don Weatherall of Atlanta, GA and Audry Lynn Neuharth of Kalispell, MT; 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters Dr. Ernest E. Colglazier and Gladys Lucille Sharman of Grant, NE, Bernice Thompson and Dale Colglazier of Holyoke, Merle Colglazier of Adelphi, MD and Doris Foster of Watermill, Long Island, NY, and sister-in-law Viola Colglazier of Holyoke. Services were held March 19, 1996 at First Christian Church in Holyoke with Pastor Brad Fanning of the Seventh Day Adventist Church officiating. Interment followed in Holyoke Memorial Park. (Clarence Henry Kuhnke was born on September 13, 1905 near Monroe, WI to Minnie M. Granzow and August E. Kuhnke. He died December 5, 1999 in Sacramento, CA.)
