She had lived in Hampstead, Easton, Walkersville and Frederick. Read More	Carroll County Times (Westminster, MD) - Thursday, January 29, 2004 Mildred Mary Ruby, 82, of Frederick, died Monday, Jan. 19, 2004, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Born Aug. 19, 1921, in Westminster, she was the daughter of the late Ira Jacob and Rosie Lowe Basler. She was the wife of Elmo Shaffer Ruby, who died July 31, 2001. She had lived in Hampstead, Easton, Walkersville and Frederick. She retired from Maryland National Bank in October 1985 after 22 years of service as a bookkeeper, teller and customer service representative. Surviving are daughter Julie R. Ruby and fiancé Pete Russell of Springfield, Va.; son Michael E. Ruby of Newcomb; grandchildren Robert and Amy Goodden and Roger and Holly Ruby; and brothers and sister-in-law Robert N. Basler of Hampstead and Raymond K. and Janet Basler of Jefferson; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 7 at the Robert E. Dailey & Son Funeral Homes, 1201 N. Market St., Frederick. Interment will be in St. John's Leisters Lutheran Church Cemetery in Westminster. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until time of service Saturday, Feb. 7, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Kidney Fund, 6110 Executive Blvd., Rockville, MD 20852; or the local charity of one's choice.
