She was born in Grasonville, MD on May 8, 1933 to the late Nelson David and Viola O’Donnell Middleton. She attended grammar school in Grasonville and high school in Baltimore. She began working in homes, providing homecare for the sick and elderly until her retirement. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Moose Lodge No. 831 and the American Legion No. 296. Snookie is survived by her son, Douglas Middleton and his wife Terry of Centreville, MD; 3 granddaughters, Tricia Malzcewski and her husband Michael of Cordova, MD, Beth Green and her husband Steve of Chestertown, MD, Jennifer Lewis and her husband Michael of Queenstown, MD; 8 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by 4 siblings, Gary Middleton, David Middleton, Roberta Middleton Wooters, and Beverly Middleton Cash.
