Read More	Mrs. Mildred WRIGHT dies Mrs. Mildred Verlee WRIGHT, 73, died Thursday, May 1, 1986, at her home in Morning Sun. Burial was in the Elmwood Cemetery in Morning Sun. She was born December 24, 1912, in Louisa County, a daughter of Earl and Ruth LOPER-SPRINGSTEEN. She married Gay WRIGHT on November 26, 1930, in Tipton. The couple had lived in the Morning Sun area. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women, was a Sunday School teacher, 4-H leader, cub scout den mother, home health aide, and Louisa County census taker. She had cooked in a number of restaurants and was the present cook for the Lions Club. She was known as "baker of the community" and won many county and state prizes for her baked goods. Surviving are her husband; one son, Edward WRIGHT of Morning Sun; three daughters, Mrs. Warren (Phyllis) STINEMAN of Grandview, Mrs. Ronald (Karen) HOLLINGSWORTH of Mediapolis, and Mrs. James (Ruth) OETKEN of Winchester, Kentucky; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth SPRINGSTEEN of Morning Sun; and four sisters, Eulalee BRYANT of Morning Sun and Genevieve CRIST, Viola WILLIAMSON and Vera JAMESON, all of Eugene, Oregon.
