Milford Charles Lansink, second son of Esther (Roeder) and Henry Lansink, was born at Odebolt, Iowa, Sept 15, 1930. He passed away May 22, 1947 at the age of 16 years, 8 months and 7 days. He grew up at the family homestead, attending school Hayes #2 and at St Martin's school at Odebolt. He was baptized and confirmed at St Martin's church. Following his schooling he assisted with the farm work and was always willing and industrious worker. He leaves to mourn his untimely death his parents, four brothers, George, Harold, Merle and Ronald and six sisters, Alvera, Bernadine, Helen, Audrey, Anna Mae, and Catherine all at home. He also leaves a large group of relatives including grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins. Milford will be greatly missed by the immediate family where they enjoyed a happy homelife, and by many relatives and friends of the community....
