For Millard Glenn- Funeral services for Millard Glenn, 83, of Imperial, a former resident, were held 3 p.m. Tuesday afternoon at the Methodist church here. The Rev. F. C. Millard Glenn, son of William and Dulcina Glenn, was born at Greenview, Illinois, in March 13, 1870, and came to Nebraska in 1893 [sic, should be 1883] when 13 years of age, where he continued to live the rest of his life. He was united in marriage to Maude F. Metheven on March 2, 1897 at Elwood, Nebraska. One year later a son, Fred R. was born at Eustis, where they lived for two years. Then a daughter, Alice Maude, was born in Saunders county, where the family resided for ten years. Then moving to Wolbach, Nebraska, a daughter Doris Mae was born. In March of 1922 his wife passed away after a brief illness. Following this the family moved to Brush, Colorado because of the health of Alice Maude. It was here that Alice departed this life at the age of 27. The family returned to Eustis in 1934, where he and Doris Mae made their home until his failing health in February of 1953. He then came to Imperial, Nebraska to make home with his daughter, Doris and family, where he remained until his timely death on Sunday, July 26, 1953, having reached the age of 83 years, 4 months and 13 days.
